The quartet
The Noam Lemish Quartet focuses on performing my original compositions. The music we play is characterized by intense lyricism, lush harmony and rhythmic vitality. It moves beyond cyclical song forms and stretches standard jazz structures in new directions.
I grew up “in between” cultures and places, and I carry my fluid multi-local identity with me wherever I go. So too, our genre-bending music lives “in between” musical worlds (jazz, classical music, Israeli music and more) yet it is simultaneously integrated into a unique and unified musical expression.
